Cream – A People's History brings together over 500 fan memories of the Sixties supergroup Cream. It plots the journey of guitarist Eric Clapton, drummer Ginger Baker and bass player Jack Bruce, who many music fans rate as second only to The Beatles in terms of importance, from their formation in 1966 to their split in 1968 with first hand accounts from The Twisted Wheel to the Royal Albert Hall.
Cream achieved trans-Atlantic fame the band, responsible for hits such as 'White Room' and 'Sunshine of Your Love', but served their apprenticeship in Britain, playing small venues and performing for as little as £75 a night.
