A fine choice for budget systems, home-theater setups, and places where you might have an older stereo but want good sound, AudioQuest Type 2 speaker cable employs four individually insulated LGC copper conductors for quality that far surpasses big-box options. Two conductors are 21AWG and two are 19AWG, making Type 2 a 17AWG (1.06 sq. mm) cable. The conductors are spiraled for optimal signal carrying characteristics and steady RF rejection. Four-conductor geometry provides a superior balance of forces between opposing conductors. The performance is audibly superior to using the same conductors as a double set of twisted pairs. 

AudioQuest Crimp BFA Banana connectors are an inexpensive, lightweight, and excellent way to terminate speaker wire. The Crimp BFA is a thin, heavily plated brass sheet that is rolled into a heavy silver collar. When inserted into the binding post, the high-tensile strength of the spresses back against the binding posts, creating a large contact area and pressure.
