Kimber Kable 4TC Jumpers Offer Superior Parts and a Proven Design to Deliver Sonic Improvement Over Stock Jumpers

Great loudspeakers need great cables — with great connectors — for optimal performance. Kimber Kable 4TC Jumpers are available with bananas or spades, and they deliver a significant sonic upgrade when compared to stock jumpers. A set of four is needed for two speakers. Considering the affordable price, these jumpers offer a great price-to-performance ratio for hi-fi systems and home theater setups.

Kimber Kable 4TC Jumpers are constructed with eight strands of 19.5 American Wire Gauge (AWG) oxygen-free copper, in a braided design, with Teflon insulation.

Hear the difference that high-quality speaker cables and premium connectors can make in your system. Like all Music Direct products, the 4TC Jumpers come with the 100% Music Direct Satisfaction Guarantee.

Building on a Legacy

More than 40 years ago, Ray Kimber, the founder of Kimber Kable, developed a braided wire concept that not only rejected radio-frequency (RF) noise, but also allowed an audio system to deliver overall better sound. After a period of discovery, he decided to take a risk and began selling his new cables.

He hit the road with a few spools of cable and some modest test equipment. He first showed that there was a testable difference in cables, and then he would do a simple "before and after" test, replacing regular speaker cables with Kimber Kable ones. For these tests, Ray often would choose the most modest system in a dealer’s showroom. The result was obvious and immediate: Better cables made a significant difference in sonic performance.

Over the years, Ray would carefully test various metals as conductors, try out assorted manufacturing protocols, use an array of stranding sizes, and explore different twist lengths and insulation, as well as numerous methods for adhering insulation to cable. All the while, he and his team were improving, modifying, and expanding upon his original cable concept and design. Today, Kimber Kable extends that legacy with its mission to build a variety of fantastic-sounding audio and video cables, as well as superb connectors.
