A two-in-one power distributor and ground-noise reduction hub, the Shunyata Gemini Model-8 is ideal for high-end systems, home-theater applications, headphone setups — even recording consoles. Capable of powering 200-watt amplifiers and featuring dual-zone AC filtering, the 20A-capable Gemini-8 leverages Shunyata’s proven NIC noise isolation chamber technology to provide a common grounding point for the components to which it’s connected — as well as beneficial noise suppression rated at 24dB from input-to-output.
Designed and constructed using trademarked Dynamic Transient Current Delivery (DTCD) analysis, Gemini Model-8 dramatically improves low-frequency performance, dynamic contrasts, and sonic clarity. The presence of a Component-to-Component (CCI) filter further enhances what you’ll hear in that it addresses the noise generated by your electronic components.
Another massive benefit: A Chassis Grounding System (CGS) that lessens ground plane noise and minimizes inter-component voltage differences between component chassis. It includes four posts exclusively for chassis grounding (cables sold separately). Add to that a dual 12-guage ArNi VTX buss wiring system, and a hydraulic electromagnetic breather that uses low-impedance relays and a sensing coil without limiting current add to the benefits that make Gemini Model-8 stand out from the pack.
Equipped with two isolation zones and eight NEMA5-20R outlets, Gemini Model-8 is finished off with internal vibration-dampening panels and Shunyata’s isolation footers.
