Intended for modest-sized rooms and measuring 17.69 x 9.81 x 16.19 inches (HWD), the British-made SCM20ASL can be placed without sonic compromise in small areas and even close to walls. Inside, a six-inch SB75-150SL mid-bass driver with a three-inch voice coil and short-coil motor assembly with proprietary SL motor technology complements and one-inch SH25-76S soft-dome tweeter with dual suspension and a high-energy 2/1 Tesla motor. Add second-order analog Linkwitz Riley crossovers and a pair of Class A/B MOSFET power amplifiers to the equation, and you get playback distinguished with utmost efficiency, timing, and tonal balance. SCM20ASL further benefits from the fact one amplifier is dedicated to each drive unit, with 200W and 50W of continuous power, respectively, delivered to the bass and high-frequency drivers. 

Featuring the first cabinets built at ATC’s new factory, SCM20ASL includes a rear-panel mounted XLR input as well as user controls for input sensitivity and low-frequency shelf cut/boost. The former lets you tailor the input gain to suit your source/preamplifier setup, while the latter allows you to adjust the bass response to suit your room and loudspeaker position.
