One of the most charismatic of conductors, Carlos Kleiber passed away over 10 years ago, on July 13, 2004. In commemoration of the great artist, Deutsche Grammophon released his Complete Orchestral Recordings for the label in a 4LP deluxe set. This performance of Beethoven's Symphony No. 5 In C Minor, Op. 67 is one of the four legendary LPs that represent Kleiber's entire orchestral output for Deutsche Grammophon, now available individually. These LPs were expertly produced from the recent 24-bit remastered recordings, which are as faithful to the original analogue sources as possible.
