As Belle and Sebastian finish work on their ninth studio album (recorded in Atlanta with Ben H. Allen), Matador Records is excited to announce that their vinyl catalog – currently out of print – will be back in print for a limited time in the fall of 2014. The It Could Have Been A Brilliant Career series is an opportunity to revisit the band’s treasured output and unique, consistent aesthetic, as well as an opportunity for fans to complete their collections and enjoy the music via the warmth of vinyl.

If You're Feeling Sinister was Belle And Sebastian's breakthrough album and second of 1996 following debut Tigermilk, a beautiful throwback to the golden days of 1960's pop and a quality snapshot of the band in the midst of finding their signature aesthetic.
