180g Vinyl Mastered by Ray Staff and Pressed at Pallas

Anchored by the superb numbers "Get With It" and "Dance Of The Little Children," Freedom Of Speech is a stone cold deep spiritual jazz album originally released on Charles Tolliver's Strata-East label in 1975 and featuring mysterious leader/drummer/educator Billy Parker; husband and wife team Dee Dee (vocals) and Cecil Bridgewater (trumpet) plus Cecil's brother Ronald Bridgewater (tenor saxaphone); Lonnie Liston Smith's brother Donald Smith (piano, vocals); and Cecil McBee (bass). A rare and rewarding gem, Freedom Of Speech is as fine a document as any of the state of mid-70's jazz. This recording was culled from original tapes, expertly mastered by Ray Staff and pressed on the best Pallas 180g vinyl.

Billy Parker (drums)
