Formed from the ashes of Jim Mankey and Johnette Napolitano's Dream 6 on the fringes of L.A.'s new wave and punk scene, alt-rockers Concrete Blonde quickly signed with IRS Records and found a home on college radio alongside labelmates like R.E.M. Originally released in 1990, Concrete Blonde's breakthrough third studio effort Bloodletting is back on vinyl for the first time in over two decades. A passionate gothic tapestry of sex and death, it yielded the band's first mainstream hit "Joey" and features guest appearance by R.E.M.'s Peter Buck, Roxy Music's Paul Thompson and The Dream Syndicate's Steve Wynn.
