2016's Wonderful Crazy Night was co-produced by Elton John and T-Bone Burnett and reconvened the music legend's core band of drummer Nigel Olsson, from his original three-piece group, and guitarist Davey Johnstone, with whom he first worked in 1971. They are joined by bassist Matt Bissonette, keyboard player Kim Bullard and percussionist John Mahon. Five tracks feature another time-honored associate, percussionist Ray Cooper. Wonderful Crazy Night also marked the continuation of Elton's incredible, inexhaustible songwriting partnership with Bernie Taupin. These outstanding and evocative co-writes represent some of the latest fruits of a friendship that dates back over 50 years. Featuring the singles "Looking Up," "Wonderful Crazy Night," "Blue Wonderful," "In The Name Of You" and "A Good Heart." Released as part of the Elton John Remastered Vinyl Series, this reissue was remastered at world-renowned mastering studio Lurssen Mastering and cut at Abbey Road Studios and remains faithful to the original track listing and packaging.
