Natural Boogie is the wild and dangerous second album of intense, smoldering, raw electric blues from slide guitar master Hound Dog Taylor and his ragged but right HouseRockers, originally issued on Alligator in 1974. Playing an ultra-cheap Japanese guitar plugged into his cracked-speaker Sears Silvertone amp with Brewer Phillips playing bass lines on his old Fender and Ted Harvey pounding away at the drums, this three-piece blues band made a lot of wonderful noise. Hound Dog Taylor and the HouseRockers played foot-stomping boogies to make fans forget their troubles and dance, and grinding slow blues to exorcise their demons. Featuring such all-time fan favorites as "Sadie," "Take Five," "Roll Your Moneymaker" and "See Me In The Evening," the classic Alligator title is back on vinyl for the first time in over 25 years complete with remastered audio!
