Country superstar Miranda Lambert follows-up her Platinum-certified, No. 1 charting 2016 album The Weight of These Wings with her thrilling and thoughtful seventh studio effort, Wildcard. "The essence of a wildcard is always having something up your sleeve, in whatever capacity that means to you," Lambert shares.
The singer's first collaboration with producer Jay Joyce, the album features Top 15 lead single "It All Comes Out in the Wash," as well as Texas-tinged standout "Tequila Does," "foot-stompin' barnburner" (NPR) "Locomotive," "crunchy, frisky jam" (Stereogum) "Mess with My Head," "irresistibly catchy" (SPIN) "Bluebird," "fun-loving" (NASH Country Daily) "Pretty Bitchin'," and "instant honky-tonk jukebox classic" (Billboard) "Way Too Pretty for Prison," with Maren Morris.
"When people listen to this record, I want them to know that I see them and hear them," Miranda says. "I feel you, because I'm just a girl from East Texas, writing about all the things that go on in my world and in the worlds of people around me. I want people to get along. You know, just be who you are, own it and move on from the moments you couldn't live in."
