Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge is the major label debut that established My Chemical Romance as one of the most talented and unique bands of the mid 2000's. The band combined the best of punk, metal and emo to create a sound that brought hope to darkness. The Songs "I'm Not Okay (I Promise)," "Helena," "The Ghost of You," and many others from this album inspired an army of fans (MCRmy) that have remained loyal to this day.

The entire classic 2004 album has been remixed by Rich Costey and is packaged in brand new artwork. Additionally, four bonus tracks recorded for BBC in 2005 have been included. Three of the bonus tracks are previously unreleased live versions of "I'm Not Okay (I Promise)," "Helena," and "The Ghost of You." The fourth bonus track is a live version of "You Know What They Do to Guys Like Us in Prison" which was a B-side to limited edition UK CD single of "I'm Not Okay (I Promise)."
