Pet Shop Boys (Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe) are the most successful duo in U.K. music history. Since signing to Parlophone Records in 1985, they have achieved 42 Top 30 singles in the U.K. including 22 Top 10 hits and four No. 1's. They've released 13 studio albums to date, all of which have made the U.K. Top 10 as well as album charts around the world. Behaviour is Pet Shop Boys' fourth studio effort, recorded largely in Munich, Germany at co-producer Harold Faltermeyer's studio. The album was then completed at London's Sarm West Studios, and was released in October 1990 – hitting No. 2 on the UK Album Chart and going on to earn platinum certification. The LP is regarded as one of Pet Shop Boys' most contemplative and moving records, and features the singles "So Hard," "How Can You Expect To Be Taken Seriously?" and their classic track "Being Boring."
