Ricky Martin is a Puerto Rican singer, actor, and author, widely recognized for his contributions to Latin music and pop culture. Born Enrique Martín Morales on December 24, 1971, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, he began his career as a child star in the 1980s, performing with the Puerto Rican boy band Menudo. He later launched a solo career, achieving global fame with hits like "Livin' la Vida Loca" (1999), "She Bangs" (2000), and "Maria" (1995).
