Rufus Wainwright Want One

2003's Want One served as the third studio album by singer-songwriter Rufus Wainwright. Produced by Grammy Award-winner Marius de Vries, it yielded the singles "I Don't Know What It Is" and "Oh What A World," both of which were featured in season two of the television series Nip/Tuck. The album features guest vocals by Martha Wainwright, Joan Wasser (Joan As Police Woman), Teddy Thompson, and Linda Thompson, as well as a banjo solo by Wainwright's mother Kate McGarrigle. Want One charted on the US Billboard 200 and ranked high in the 2003 'end of the year'-lists of Mojo, Paste, Rolling Stone and more. Want One celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2023 with a 180g vinyl 2LP reissue.
