Cooke's material for the Keen label – recorded from 1957 (after seven years as lead tenor in the gospel group The Soul Stirrers) to 1960 (the year he signed with RCA Victor) – was just as fruitful as any other phase of his short career. In addition to the original album, this Vinyl Lovers collector's LP includes three bonus tracks from the same sessions: "All of My Life," "You Were Made for Me," and "Stealing Kisses."
