Spandau Ballet Gold

2018 marks the launch of Rhino's first ever Back To the 80's vinyl campaign. This year's vinyl release list includes 18 reissues from the era's definitive artists as well as two new vinyl compilations. In the early 80s Spandau Ballet were the "In Crowd's" band. They ushered in a new era of visually dominated pop and their mechanical, stylized sound was born and bred on the dance floors of London's West End. Spandau became one of the most commercially successful bands of the decade, and during their career notched up 23 hit singles and album sales of over 25 million worldwide. Some of their songs, like "True," "Gold," and "Through the Barricades," have become standards. Previously unreleased on vinyl, this 19-track Best Of collection is augmented with two bonus tracks not featured on the original 2000 CD edition.
