The Goo Goo Dolls' first "best of" collection, Greatest Hits, Vol. 1: The Singles hit the streets in 2007 and gathered the band's first 12 Top 10 Hot AC/Adult Top 40 signature hits including "Before It's Too Late" from the Transformers soundtrack. Three were also No. 1 Modern Rock smashes – "Name," "Iris" and "Slide." Also heard is the Top 10 Modern Rocker "Dizzy." Previously unreleased was a remix of "Feel The Silence" by Michael Brauer (The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney). The follow up compilation, Vol. 2, was issued in 2008 and consisted of rarities, B-sides, and covers.
