Ridin’ High was first released in 1966, a period in which The Impressions were dominating the charts and recording fantastic albums. All songs were written by Curtis Mayfield, who sings lead vocals and plays guitar along with tenor vocals by Fred Cash and bass vocals by Sam Gooden.
