Trivium set the metal world ablaze with their 2005 Roadrunner Records debut Ascendancy - released when the band was still teenagers. 2006 follow-up The Crusade captured a band on a mission, reflecting their rise from virtual unknown to playing the main stages of the biggest rock festivals in the world. The Crusade is an album full of tight, intricate and instantly memorable songs that feature awe-inspiring musicianship from all four members of the band. Now eight records into their career, the Orlando, FL outfit has led a resurgence for the metal and trash world - combining classic technicality and speed as melody - staying true to the style of legends like Iron Maiden and Megadeth while infusing a modern sense of melody and energy. Trivium closes out 2018 with colored double vinyl reissues of four of their early Roadrunner albums - Ascendancy (2005), The Crusade (2006), Shogun (2008) and In Waves (2011) - for the first time since their original releases.
