Similarly, the post-DAC active filter in 9000N is also a critical element. For it, Audiolab developed a new circuit tailored to make the most of ES9038PRO. The digital circuitry extends to a Quad Arm® Cortex-A53 core MCU with 1.8GHz per Core, a ‘brain’ that provides seamless operation and additional benefits such as album artwork caching for faster loading of artwork files.

The 13.7-pound 9000N is also built to connect with practically any setup. XLR, RCA, optical, coaxial, and 12V trigger outputs complement network, PC USB-B, ethernet, and 12V trigger inputs. Because 9000N serves as a standalone MQA decoder, it can interface with any amplifier or secondary pre-amp system with analog connections. Relatedly, MQA pass-through functionality allows you to use 9000N to stream and throughput an untouched MQA signal to a secondary DAC.
