Built for Vinyl and More: Value-Laden Audiolab PPA7 MM/MC Phono Preamplifier Features a Dedicated Analog Output Stage, Selectable Loading Options, Bluetooth Transmission with aptX HD, and USB Recording Ability for Digital LP Archiving

Get more than a dependable MM/MC phono preamplifier with the Audiolab PPA7. Engineered to provide audiophile performance and exceptional flexibility, it helps deliver the levels of clarity, depth, balance, and warmth that you expect from your LPs. And with its purpose-built amplification and equalization stage, it zooms past the majority of built-in phono inputs on integrated and all-in-one units.

Complete with a dedicated analog output stage to ensure neutrality, low distortion, and accuracy, PPA7 generates internal +8.5V and -8.5V regulated rails through separate positive buck and negative inverter regulation. This single-source symmetrical supply translates into stability and clean handling of the delicate signal, assets no matter if you're using an MC or MM cartridge. Selectable MM capacitance options of 100pF/220pF couple with MC 100R/330R loading for options when matching cartridges and tuning your system.

The compact 2.2 x 8.2 x 7.1-inch (HWD) PPA7 is also built for modern wants. To wit: Bluetooth transmission with aptX HD lets you hear vinyl playback through compatible wireless headphones and speakers. And USB recording invites you to archive your record collection with selectable resolutions up to 24-bit/192kHz, with support for Mac and PC. And its record gain range of -12dB to +3dB gives you control over USB recording levels, helping optimize transfers and reduce the risk of overload when digitizing hot pressings or dynamically demanding titles.

Housed in an aluminum chassis with tactile controls and a 1.3-inch OLED display, PPA7 comes with a remote control and a dedicated current-feedback headphone amplifier in the event you wish to use it as a desktop component.
