Deluxe reissue of the 1972 album from Captain Beefheart. Includes original album cut (AAA) from the original master tape and bonus LP with previously unreleased alternate versions and outtakes from recording sessions.
Captain Beefheart took over full production duties on The Spotlight Kid, resulting in a loose and fun album of heavy and spacious blues that is often cited as one of his most accessible. The album features some of Beefheart's most beautiful songs, such as "Glider" and "Grow Fins" as well as the live favorites "Alice in Blunderland" and "Click Clack."
