A Trick of the Tail released in February 1976, was the first album since the departure of Peter Gabriel, and the first to see Phil Collins take on lead vocal duties. The album was a critical and commercial success, reaching #3 in the UK albums chart. Now the album has been pressed on colored vinyl to celebrate its 50th anniversary.

Genesis have always been known for their sense of spectacle and their groundbreaking live shows, as much as their ambitious studio albums like the evergreen Nursery Cryme, Foxtrot, Selling England by the Pound and The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway. Over the last four decades, the group has sold 150 million albums worldwide and has influenced the likes of Elbow, Flaming Lips and Jeff Buckley.
