In 1999, Kris Kristofferson got together with some of the world's greatest players and singer songwriters and created "The Austin Sessions." Along with friends Jackson Browne, Allison Krauss, Mark Knopfler, Steve Earle and many others, Kris Kristofferson and his dear friends collaborated on some of his biggest hit songs like "Help Me Make It Through The Night," "Why Me?," "Sunday Morning Coming Down" and "Me and Bobby McGee."
Friday Music presents the expanded edition of this effort on vinyl. Mastered from the Atlantic recordings by Joe Reagoso, it features two bonus tracks for the first time on vinyl, "Jody & The Kid" and "Best of All Possible Worlds."
