She Hangs Brightly is the debut album from Mazzy Star, featuring guitarist Dave Roback and vocalist Hope Sandoval. Released in 1990, it is an incredible mixture of dream-pop and layered psychedelic rock sounds. The album features songs such as "Halah," "Ride It On," and "Be My Angel." Available on standard black vinyl.

Mazzy Star is an American alternative rock band formed in Santa Monica, California, in 1988. The core members are Hope Sandoval (vocals) and David Roback (guitar), who previously played in other Paisley Underground bands like Opal.

The band is best known for their dreamy, melancholic sound that blends elements of psychedelic rock, folk, and shoegaze  and for their 1993 hit single “Fade Into You”, which became an iconic track of the 1990s.

David Roback passed away in 2020, marking the end of the band’s activity. Despite their low media profile and sparse releases, Mazzy Star has retained a devoted cult following.
