On July 26th, 2024 Porter Robinson released his highly anticipated third studio album SMILE!:D via Mom+Pop.

Porter’s most ambitious and vulnerable album to date, SMILE! :D is laden with social commentary on the paradox of modern artistry, internet culture, and celebrity. The album untangles Porter’s complicated relationship with fame in the digital age, and the uneasy balance between authenticity and performance – from Porter’s juxtaposed position on trendsetting with “Kitsune Maison Freestyle” to his views on fandom on “Cheerleader”. SMILE! :D is a 10-track display of the maximalist hyperpop, alternative, pop punk, and indie styles that define Robinson’s new era, as premiered by Robinson at a sold-out intimate listening party at Echoplex in Los Angeles, where he played the album in full to fans for the first time.
