On August 1, 1987, Tangerine Dream gave a memorable concert on the Platz der Republik, right in front of the Reichstag in Berlin, as part of the city's 750th anniversary celebrations. With over 100,000 spectators, the concert took place near the Berlin Wall, symbolizing the division of Germany. The group's electronic music, accompanied by spectacular visuals and fireworks, created a unique experience. Rumor has it that people in East Germany could even hear the event.
