Tchaikovsky 1812 Overture: Fritz Reiner, Chicago Symphony Orchestra on 180g 45RPM 2LP from Analogue Productions: Part of the RCA Living Stereo Series, Mastered by Bernie Grundman from the Original Master Tape, Pressed at QRP

Original 1958 "Shaded Dog" stereo release. The legendary Reiner 1812 that was only available as a 1S pressing having been deleted soon after the Mercury 1812 featuring live cannon shots was released. The performance on this reissue is mind bending and features the incomparable Chicago Symphony Orchestra brass section.

Mastered by Bernie Grundman from the original two-track master tape, cut at 45RPM, and plated and pressed at Quality Record Pressings. No other editions match this for the quietest 180-gram platters available. Each reissue in the RCA Living Stereo 45RPM Series includes a special two-panel insert.
