The Strokes' New 2026 Studio Album Reality Awaits on LP: Produced by Rick Rubin.

Reality Awaits is the 7th studio album from The Strokes. New music from The Strokes arrives now, beginning with the new single, “Going Shopping.” The full track list includes nine new songs - set for release on June 26th.

Reality Awaits was recorded in Costa Rica with legendary producer Rick Rubin. It’ll be the first new Strokes record since 2020’s The New Abnormal. That record earned the band their first Grammy Award. In 2024, Julian Casablancas’ band the Voidz released the album Like All Before You.
