2000's Life'll Kill Ya was Warren Zevon's first album for Artemis Records. Recorded in New York, Boston and in Warren's studio in Los Angeles, the twelve-song classic included some of his most profound work for the new decade with tracks like "I Was in the House When the House Burned Down," "Don't Let Us Get Sick," plus more great fare like Stevie Winwood's classic "Back in the High Life Again" and the title track "Life'll Kill Ya."

The Top 10 Independent Rock charting album included more interesting tunes like his work with his longtime friend and musician Jorge Calderon on "Porcelain Monkey" and "Fistful of Rain."

As always, Warren Zevon would pick some really great musicians and for Life'll Kill Ya. You will hear the stellar drum work of Winston Watson (Bob Dylan), plus the fine guitar work of Chuck Prophet on "For My Next Trick I'll Need a Volunteer."

Produced by Paul Q. Kolderie (Radiohead) and Sean Slade (The Specials), Life'll Kill Ya is mastered for this reissue by Joe Reagoso from the Melody Catalog LP tapes at Friday Music Studios. The packaging has a gatefold cover featuring all the lyrics and artist photo.
