Designed by Matthew Weisfeld, son of VPI co-founder Harry Weisfeld, MW-1 Cyclone rotates for scrubbing and vacuums in both directions, and removes copious debris from LP surfaces. A brick-strong support-platter assembly, significantly quieter operation than VPI's HW-16.5, indestructible build quality, and the ability to press as hard as you want while scrubbing without breaking the motor are more reasons to do the twist(er).

MW-1 Cyclone sports an attractive industrial design in which an all-aluminum skin curves graciously around the entire unit, softening corners with understated elegance. A brand-new dust cover complements the sleek exterior, without hinges to break up the visual line. Of course, MW-1 Cyclone's beautiful clothing is nothing compared to what's going on under the skin. A vacuum with double the power and 20dB less the noise of the HW-16.5 combines with a high-grade clamp to keep records firmly in place. A beefed-up reversible platter motor allow for more vigorous scrubbing.
