The alignment side of this tool features an overhang adjustment section that allows you to set the proper distance between the stylus tip and turntable spindle, essential for ensuring proper tracking and minimizing distortion. You'll also be able to access null points for four different alignment geometries (Baerwald, Stevenson, Löfgren B, UNI-DIN) to dial in optimal tracking and play LPs minimal distortion.
Flip it over to the stroboscope side to calibrate turntable platter speeds of 33-1/3, 45, and 78RPM at 50 or 60Hz. Please note: The stroboscope requires an incandescent or strobe light (not included) to view the strobe pattern.
