Designed for purity and seamless system integration, the 3.78 x 9.29 x 14.06-inch (HWD) 778CDT employs a custom CD transport mechanism with a precision servo control system to ensure stable rotation, accurate tracking, and reliable error correction. A temperature-compensated crystal oscillator (TCXO) functions as the master clock, reducing jitter and delivering a clean, stable SPDIF signal to your downstream DAC. Key circuit functions — transport, laser, decoder, master clock — are powered by dedicated low-noise supplies, minimizing interference and preserving signal integrity throughout the playback chain.

Should you choose files, 778CDT supports USB-HDD playback. Music stored on USB devices is handled via the same precision clocking and low-noise architecture. Digital output is provided via both coaxial and optical S/PDIF, ensuring simple and straightforward compatibility with your setup.
