How much sonic goodness and modern versatility can a half-width integrated amplifier possibly deliver? In the case of the Mission 778X, plenty. Rated at 45Wpc into eight ohms, this 3.86 x 9.29 x 14.98-inch (HWD) all-rounder delivers engaging, detailed, and refined sound marked by open balance and a touch of warmth. You'll relish the detail, timing, and dynamics. And you'll love the fact 778X accommodates digital and analog sources, with its on-board MM phonostage based around a JFET circuit making vinyl playback a cinch. 

Designed to occupy a minimal footprint and stack with Mission's 778CDT and 778S sibling components, 778X incorporates an ESS ES9018K2M Reference DAC  with 32-bit HyperStream architecture and Time Domain Jitter Eliminator to supply low-noise, broad-range portrayal digital files up to DSD256 and 384kHz PCM. A built-in Bluetooth receiver with the aptX and AAC codecs gives you wireless options from smart devices and PCs. And a dedicated headphone amplifier with high-speed output transition and a high slew rate welcomes you to connect your favorite 'phones for personal listening.

Visually inspired by '80s hi-fi, 778X further touts one coaxial, two Toslink, one USB, and two auxiliary inputs. One coaxial, Toslink, and RCA pre-out cover the outputs array.
