All-Analog 180g Vinyl LP of Getz/Gilberto Remastered from the Original Analog Tapes, Pressed at QRP, and Housed in Stoughton Gatefold Jacket
The marvelous album, Getz/Gilberto, had a profound influence upon the face of jazz and American popular music. The stunning 1964 collaboration between Stan Getz, one of the most respected tenor saxophonists of the era, and the remarkable Brazilian guitarist Joao Gilberto, launched the bossa nova craze and the career of Joao's wife Astrid Gilberto with the iconic hit "The Girl From Ipanema." This all-analog 180g vinyl LP reissue was mastered from the original analog tapes by Ryan K. Smith at Sterling Sound, pressed at QRP, and comes housed in a Stoughton tip-on gatefold jacket.
