Legacy Performance Meets Contemporary Lifestyle Needs: Mission 750 Bookshelf Loudspeakers Tout Inverted Geometry Design, Multi-Layer Sandwich Cabinetry, Statement Looks, and Warm, Composed Performance
Designed from scratch and devised to fuse Mission’s historic legacy with contemporary lifestyle needs, the Mission 750 bookshelf speaker can be called a “modern classic” in both approach and execution. Leveraging the technology of its larger siblings, this two-way vented standmount targets listeners with a cautious eye on the budget and available room space.
Featuring the company's proprietary Inverted Geometry Design — wherein the treble unit is placed below the bass/midrange driver, thereby balancing length of the sound path and producing sound waves that coincide with the height of your head — Mission 750 plays with extraordinary time alignment, coherence, and liveliness. A recently developed polypropylene bass/midrange driver and motor system residing in a 5.25-inch profile specifically tailored for Mission 750 ensures it more than meets modern power handling and dynamic requirements while also demonstrating extended response and low coloration.
To ably handle the high frequencies, a lightweight 1.25-inch soft dome complete with felt damper, vented spacer, copper-wound glass-fiber voice coil, magnet, and sub-magnet operates with a specially damped rear chamber that pays dividends in the areas of resonance control, bandwidth, and smoothness. Each and every aspect, from the rigid cast chassis to the low-density surround, contributes to a driver with fantastic rigidity and precision-controlled cone-termination for dynamic performances and tight, fast, energetic output. An artisan-grade crossover ties everything together.
Measuring a svelte 13.98 x 8.5 x 12.01 inches (HWD), the 19.84-pound Mission 750 touts cabinetry with multi-layer sandwich construction, custom acoustic-damping adhesive, and internal bracing structure similar to those of the Series flagship Mission 700. A lining of foam and long-hair fiber aids in internal resonance control, while the profiled rear reflex ports extend bass beyond what's traditionally expected from such a compact enclosure. Visually stunning, Mission's signature white front baffle and logo make a bold statement. Ditto the real-wood veneer.
Warm, rich, and composed, this is a bookshelf model with which you'll easily fall in love. To learn more, call us up at 312-433-0200.
"Mission’s 750 speakers are solid performers with a bold and punchy delivery."
