Whether employed as part of a 3.1, 5.1, or other such configuration, this three-way bass-reflex design arrives built from the ground up — not from existing parts — to maintain complete tonal continuity with Wharfedale Linton and Denton models. Able to play without the coloration issues that impact so many center-channel offerings, the 9.8 x 21.7 x 12.6-inch (HWD) Centre is tuned by Wharfedale Director of Acoustic Design Peter Comeau. Just like every speaker in Heritage Series.

With twin 6.5-inch woven Kevlar woofers flanking a two-inch soft-dome midrange and one-inch soft-dome tweeter, along with driver placement that mirrors that of the entire Heritage Series to ensure consistent dispersion across the front soundstage, the 30.9-pound Centre is your ticket to making certain dialog stays grounded and coherent. It also looks like everything you've come to expect from Heritage Series: Same real wood veneers, vintage cloth grille, and gold badging. All you really need to decide is color and how many speakers you want to complement it in your surround system.
