Backed by The Meters, this album is a soul gem and considered to be one of Toussaint's finest. A pillar of the New Orleans music scene, Allen Toussaint was a talented performer, songwriter and producer. He started out as a piano player in his teen years. Toussaint eventually formed his own company and ran his own recording studio. He wrote numerous hits in the 1960s and 1970s. Toussaint died in 2015 at the age of 77.

This album has been cut from the original analog master by Matthew Lutthans at The Mastering Lab and is pressed on 180 gram premium-quality vinyl at Fidelity Record Pressing's plant in Oxnard, California as part of the Rhino Reserve line.
