French heavy metal behemoths Gojira returned in 2016 with their sixth full-length effort Magma. Universally recognized as one of the most talented and extreme art-metal acts on the scene today, Gojira takes everything you know about the genre, twists it, reimagines it and comes up with something wholly unique. It was 2005′s From Mars to Sirius and 2008′s The Way of All Flesh which first established Gojira as a metal force of nature and a key player in the scene. Acclaimed 2012 Roadrunner debut L'Enfant Sauvage more than followed up on the hype and Magma is easily one of their finest albums.
