John Lee Hooker - Jealous: 40th Anniversary Ed. (Vinyl LP)

John Lee Hooker Jealous Reissued for Its 40th Anniversary Edition on LP.

Recorded in 1982 (yet unreleased until 1986), Jealous was John Lee Hooker's first album of original material in years, putting him back on a comeback trail that culminated in his GRAMMY Award-winning album, The Healer, three years later. In contrast to the parade of guest stars who graced most of his late-period career albums, Jealous is a down-and-dirty effort from Hooker's seasoned band. Featuring reimagined deep cuts from his early catalog, the album eventually won a W.C. Handy Award and was also nominated for a GRAMMY Award.
