Originally released in 1974, She Loves To Hear the Music is the second solo album from stylistic Indian diva Asha Puthli who made a name for herself working with John Hammond and Ornette Coleman. Featuring production from Teo Macero, Del Newman and Paul Phillips, it follows a similar framework to that of her eponymous 1973 debut with singular funky disco psyche covers of Cole Porter's "Night And Day," Neil Sedaka's "Laughter In The Rain" and Van McCoy's "You've Got To Tell Her."
