Lucinda Williams Lucinda Williams on Translucent Red Colored 180g LP + Download w/ Bonus Material

Newly Remastered In Honor of the Album's 25th Anniversary by Gavin Lurssen at Lurssen Mastering

Out of Print for 10 Years

Lucinda Williams is pleased to present a special vinyl reissue of her critically acclaimed 1988 self-titled Rough Trade album co-produced with Gurf Morlix. Out-of-print for 10 years and 25 years since its original release, the remastered anniversary release is presented on red colored 180 gram vinyl and is housed in a deluxe gatefold jacket with matte finish and spot gloss on the album title and comes complete with exclusive, never-before-seen photos from the original photo shoot.

An accompanying download card features the unreleased live concert Eindhoven Live plus bonus tracks recorded at Effenaar, Eindhoven in the Netherlands on May 19, 1989. The album is being released though her own newly-formed imprint to be marketed and distributed by Thirty Tigers. Lucinda has also begun recording for her first independent release through Thirty Tigers, expected late spring/early summer of 2014.

"It’s been a long time coming, but I’m happy to announce the re-issue of my self-titled album, Lucinda Williams, is finally here. I can’t even begin to explain what this album means to me... It was the first record where I truly found myself... Or, at least, figured out what it is I do. And it has shaped me as an artist from that year forward.

"For decades, people have wondered why they couldn’t buy this album in stores... So, when I decided it was the right time to get this music back out into the world and into the hands of my dearest fans, I knew I wanted to do it in a way that would somehow say thanks for all of your faith over the years... And that’s exactly why we’re here." - Lucinda Williams

"Lucinda Williams is quite simply one of the best songwriters of her generation. This record has a special place for me and thousands more of Lucinda's fans, and I am proud to have been part of it." - Robin Hurley (Rough Trade A&R who signed Lucinda as the label's first U.S. artist)
