Retro Aesthetics Meet Modern Performance: Roon-Ready JBL SA750 Integrated Amplifier Handles Analog and Digital, Outputs a Convincing 120Wpc

Your eyes aren't fooling you: The retro appearance of the JBL SA750 integrated amplifier evokes the company's SA600 amp from the 1960s. And though the alluring, teak-wood veneer side panels on the chassis convey a vintage vibe, under the hood, SA750 is very modern. A 24-bit DAC that fully decodes MQA and an engine that outputs 120Wpc to comfortably drive most speakers at, above, and beneath its product class help account for its knack for playing music with JBL's signature blend of big dynamics, lively presence, and realistic detail.

Loaded with high-resolution streaming capability, wireless connectivity, and Dirac Live room-correction technology, SA750 stands as an all-rounder that's ideal for listeners who want to save on space without compromising on performance and flexibility. A built-in MM/MC phono input, four more pairs of analog inputs, and four digital inputs welcome you to connect practically any source or complementary piece of gear you can imagine. You can also hook up SA750 to your network wirelessly or via Ethernet. And it goes without saying that SA750 looks incredible (and sounds it, too) when paired with JBL speaker models such as the L100 Classic.

About those striking visuals. SA750 touts a milled aluminum front panel with an amber LED display screen along with elegant dials for volume, balance, and input. Heavy-duty switches for power, mute, direct, and MC/MM phono abet also a 3.5mm auxiliary input and 3.5mm headphone output for when you want to listen in private.

Shipped with a calibration microphone, SA750 even comes with Dirac Live, which allows you fine-tune your speakers and subwoofers to address the nuances of any listening environment and remove unwanted coloration. Compatibility with Apple AirPlay 2, Google Chromecast, Roon, UPnP, and the JBL MusicLife app extend this sweet amplifier's versatility. A five-year warranty and our Satisfaction Guarantee drop the proverbial hammer.

"I found the SA750 to be a very cool, enjoyable, emotionally engaging amplifier. All the extra features are cool, useful, and Dirac Live 3 will help you master difficult acoustic conditions..."

Class G Amplification

Like a hybrid car engine, Class G implements multiple power supplies rather than just a single supply. If a dynamic signal is received that goes beyond the capability of this first power supply, the secondary supply is gradually brought in, up to full rated power output as needed. This is a very efficient design because additional power is only used when required, much like a turbocharger. Utilizing high-speed silicon allows this switch to happen faster than would ever be required, even beyond the audio bandwidth. Therefore, the design completely avoids anything akin to the dreaded "turbo lag" one might experience when driving a turbocharged car. The first power supply is of lower power, and within this region, it runs as pure Class A amplification, which has no crossover distortion. Because the secondary supply, running in Class AB, is only used when needed, extreme levels of power are possible because very little energy is wasted in the amplifier as heat.

Dirac Live Room Correction Technology

Dirac Live is a mixed-phase room correction technology used in cinemas, studios, and luxury cars. With Dirac Live, you can easily measure the acoustic characteristics of your loudspeakers and room, and then calibrate the sound system to reproduce sound as intended. This technology corrects not only the frequency response but also the impulse response, a factor critical for accurate staging, clarity, and bass reproduction.
