Look underneath the attractive high-gloss finish, and you'll find a CNC-machined plinth that involves no plastic parts. It’s specially constructed to eliminate gaps and hollow spaces that cause lesser turntables to vibrate and rob music of clarity and focus. A thick, heavy, glass platter further reduces resonances common to cheaper plastic or lightweight steel designs. This allows T2 to render black backgrounds and provide propulsive pacing that will keep you reaching for record after record.

The superb motor-and-drive assembly is another way the belt-driven T2 differs from the norm. Its subplatter sits atop a 0.001mm main bearing with a hardened steel axle and brass bushing — critical parts cheap turntables lack.
