Klipsch Reference Premiere RP-600M II Bookshelf Speakers Offer Crystal-Clear Sonics, Legendary Horn Architecture, and Elegant Cabinets
Want high-quality, full-range sound from a small cabinet, along with legendary Klipsch build quality? Well, the Reference Premiere RP-600M II bookshelf speakers are just the ticket. These price-to-performance champs can serve as the main speakers in your hi-fi system, or blend seamlessly into a multichannel home theater, or become the go-to speakers for your gaming setup. Even with a compact size of 15.75 inches tall, they illustrate why so many music lovers fully embrace horn architecture in loudspeakers. Klipsch's exclusive horn design maximizes efficiency and increases sonic detail while focusing high frequencies toward the listening area.
Designed and engineered in the USA, the elegant RP-600M II speakers are loaded with Klipsch signature technology. They feature a new, larger, 90-degree x 90-degree silicone composite hybrid Tractrix horn, which provides incredibly efficient transfer of high-frequency waves into your listening space for crisp, clear sound. A bigger horn means better sound, and the phase plug and compression molded silicone face help ensure smooth frequency response.
The proprietary 1-inch titanium Linear Travel Suspension (LTS) diaphragm tweeter minimizes distortion for detailed, lifelike playback. LTS tweeters are a hallmark of previous Reference Premiere series, making this a core component of some of the most acclaimed loudspeakers in the world.
Another signature of the Reference Premiere series speakers—and one that packs both sonic and visual impact for the RP-600M II—is the 6.5-inch Cerametallic woofer. Equipped with Faraday rings, this Cerametallic cone woofer is engineered for flawless sound reproduction, minimum distortion, and maximum efficiency. The redesigned woofer delivers the sonic clarity that audiophiles around the world have come to expect from a Klipsch Reference Premiere speaker.
Utilizing Tractrix geometry, the Reference Premiere port allows for efficient, ultra-fast air transfer from the cabinet, which reduces port noise for punchier low frequencies. Less turbulent air leads to a reduction in potential port noise, resulting in cleaner bass tones. Considering its modest price—and its compact size—it would be difficult to top the quality of bass tones that the nimble RP-600M II can deliver. (For optimal results, place these speakers a bit away from walls. Because of the port design, the bass tones will be richer when the speaker is not positioned directly against a wall.)
Improvements were made throughout the RP-600M II, from top to bottom. The input panel now features audiophile-grade wire and easily accessible aluminum binding posts. The revised cabinet design features additional bracing to minimize resonances and vibration. On the bottom of the cabinet's exterior, cork pads (instead of rubber bumpers) provide reliable security, whether the speakers are placed on a stand or table. The strong, flexible, removable grille attaches magnetically for a sleek look, allowing these speakers to visually complement any listening space.
Available in ebony vinyl or walnut vinyl finishes, these gorgeous cabinets boast satin-painted baffles and a scratch-resistant finish. Like all Music Direct products, Klipsch loudspeakers come with the 100% Music Direct Satisfaction Guarantee.
"Dynamically, the new 600M delivers! This is a Klipsch speaker, after all. These speakers pack an absolute punch and when crossed over with a sub around 60Hz or so, I doubt many listeners will be left with much to complain about. Hell, I doubt many would even need towers—but I digress. But the 600M is more than just a blunt instrument. Its dynamics—especially when listening to piano tracks from the likes of Alexis Ffrench—can possess a delicacy I simply wasn't prepared for. Moreover, the 600M remains musical and engaging at lower volumes, [which] those of you with smaller spaces (or shared walls) will really appreciate."

Exclusive LTS Tweeter
The exclusive 1-inch LTS tweeter minimizes distortion for enhanced, detailed performance. The vented tweeter housing reduces standing waves that create unwanted harmonics, resulting in advanced levels of detail and clarity in high-frequency reproduction.
Bi-Wiring and Bi-Amping Capability
The RP-600M II speakers feature the option for bi-wiring and bi-amping. Dual input terminals for bi-wiring / bi-amping capabilities separate the high- and low-frequency current into different speaker cables, reducing distortion for clearer midrange tones. Bi-amping allows for further optimization of performance with separate outboard power amplifiers for the high-frequency and low-frequency drivers.
